The 4th seeded Pioneers opened the Section 7AA Tournament with a 75-67 win over the Gobblers, advancing to the Quarterfinals. The Pioneers had a balanced scoring attack, led by Nate Cekalla with 22, Will Stangl had 11, Nathan Solinger 10, Jack Prokott 9, Aiden Jones 8 and Nick Virnig and Tyler Kimman added 7 each. It was the Pioneers 6th win in their last 7 games.

The Pioneers came out on fire, blitzing the Rebels from the opening tip, building a 43-22 lead at halftime and rolling to a 79-55 victory. Tyler Kimman scored a career-high 19, Nick Virnig had 12 and Jack Prokott and Nate Cekalla added 11 each as Pierz improved to 12-11.

The #12 seeded Pioneers put a scare into #5 Mesabi East in the first round of the Section 7AA Playoffs before falling 50-40 to the Giants. Mataya Pohlkamp led the Pioneers with 9 points with Kora Toops and Macy Sadlovsky adding 8 points each as the Pioneers finished the year with a record of 5-22.

The Pioneers snapped an 8-game losing streak with an impressive 63-51 win over the Rebels. Sophie Leidenfrost scored a season-best 13 points, and Macy Sadlovsky scored 11. Amber Boser and Kora Toops scored 9 points each and Kansas Block and Mataya Pohlkamp scored 8 points each. The night was highlighted by a pregame ceremony honoring the 1975 Pierz Pioneers Girls Basketball team, the 1st team at Pierz. Mary Scholl Tschida joined Rick Grammond at halftime for a fun interview about the 1975 team and season.

The Pioneers Dual Meet season came to an end with a 31-22 loss to the #2 seeded Thunderhawks in Grand Rapids. It's the 3rd straight season that Grand Rapids has beaten Pierz in the Section Semifinals. Brayden Melby and Caleb Koch won by Fall, Carter Young won by Major Decision and Kyle Stangl and Link Toops won by Decision for Pierz.

The #3 seeded Pioneers opened the postseason with a 57-10 win over #6 seed Rock Ridge. Kyle Stangl, Jayden Zajac, Caleb Koch, Bradly Tanner and Henry Hoffman won by Fall, Link Toops and Brecken Andres won by Forfeit, and Carter Young, Grady Young and Brayden Melby won by Tech Fall as the Pioneers advanced to the 7AA Semifinals.
