Sobieski Skis vs Avon Lakers 2025

The Skis clinched the regular season pennant and the #1 seed in the B Division Playoffs with an 8-4 win over the Avon Lakers at Blattner Field. Jake Kapphahn belted a 3-run Homer in the 7th, Beau Thoma went 2-5 and scored 3 times, Matt Filippi was 2-5 with a run scored and Hudson Filippi was 2-4 with 2 rbi for the Skis. Jake Kapphahn threw 6 shutout innings in relief to get the Win. Elliott Burnett and Caleb Curry both were 3-5 while Drew Lieser and Cole Wellmann had 2 hits each for Avon.

Pierz Bulldogs vs Randall Cubs Game 2 2025

The Randall Cubs completed their 2-game sweep of the Pierz Bulldogs in the Division Playoffs with an 8-5 win in Game 2. Nate Benning went 2-5 with a solo Homer and a 2-run single, Matt Otremba was 2-5 with 2 rbi, Adam Nibaur was 2-4 with a double, rbi and scored twice as Brett Strack pitched the final 2 innings to get the Win. Craig Luberts was 2-5 with an rbi, Ashton Poser was 3-4 and scored a run and Cooper Grashorn drove in 2 runs for the Bulldogs.

Pierz Bulldogs vs Randall Cubs Division Playoffs Game 1 2025

The Randall Cubs beat the Pierz Bulldogs 5-0 in Game 1 of their Best 2-of-3 Playoff series in Randall. Nate Benning threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 13 to get the Win with Brett Strack throwing the final 2 innings. Matt Otremba was 1-4 with a double, Brett Strack was 2-3 with a walk, 2 rbi and scored twice, Adam Nibaur had an rbi double and Darin Gerads went 1-3 with an rbi for the Cubs. Teddy Dehler and Mason Herold had doubles for the Bulldogs. 

Pierz Legion Baseball vs Cold Spring Sub-State 2025

Pierz American Legion Post 341 kept their season alive in the Sub-State Playoffs with a 5-4 win over Cold Spring in Sartell. Pierz used a 4-run top of the 2nd to take an early lead, keyed by rbi singles from Jackson Thielen and Chase Becker and a 2-run single from Grady Young. Grady Young's 7th inning rbi double proved to be the game winner as Cold Spring scored 3 times in the bottom of the 7th and left the tying run on base. Chase Becker got the Win with Bo Woitalla throwing the final 2/3's of an inning to finish the game. 

Pierz Legion Baseball vs Sauk Rapids Sub-State 2025

Pierz American Legion Post 341 lost a tough 5-4 game to Sauk Rapids in the Sub-State Playoffs in Sartell. Pierz held a 4-3 lead going to the bottom of the 6th but Sauk Rapids scored twice in the bottom of the 6th to rally for the win. Pierz left the bases loaded in the top of the 7th to end the game. Chase Becker had a 3-run double in the 2nd and Kaden Kruschek added a 3rd inning rbi double for Pierz. 

Pierz Legion Baseball vs Sartell Sub-State 2025

Pierz American Legion Post 341 knocked off #1 seed Sartell 9-6 in 8 innings at Orthopedics Sports Field in Sartell. With the game tied at 5-5 after 7, Jackson Thielen put Pierz ahead 6-5 with a sacrifice fly in the 8th, then Grady Young had an rbi single and Kaden Kruschek added a 2-run single to make it 9-5. Kaden Kruschek got the Win in relief of Brayden Haberman.

Pierz Legion Baseball at Little Falls Sub-State 2025

Pierz American Legion Post 341 opened the Sub-State Playoffs with a 4-3 win at Little Falls. Nathan Solinger went 2-2 with a pair of doubles and a walk and an rbi, Jackson Thielen was 1-3 with an rbi triple and a sacrifice, Preston Saehr was 1-3 with a double, got hit by a pitch and scored twice, and Grady Young was 2-4 with a double and scored a run. Chase Becker threw 5+ innings to get the Win while Nathan Solinger threw the final 2 innings to get the Save.

Pierz Legion Baseball at St. Cloud 76ers 2025

Pierz American Legion Post 341 lost 5-4 at the St. Cloud 76ers, losing a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the 7th. Kaden Kruschek was 1-2 with a 3-run double and 2 walks for Pierz.

Pierz Legion Baseball vs St. Cloud Chutes 2025

Pierz American Legion Post 341 lost 3-2 to the St. Cloud Chutes at Hellie Field as the visitors scored all 3 of their runs in the top of the 3rd on 3 hits and a walk. Brayden Haberman accounted for all of the Pierz runs with a 2-run Homer in the bottom of the 2nd.

Pierz American Legion Post 341 lost 4-3 against Cold Spring at Hellie Field. Cold Spring trailed 2-1 after 6 innings, then scored 3 times in the top of the 7th to grab a 4-2 lead. Pierz scored a run in the bottom of the 7th to make it 4-3 and left the bases loaded to end the game. Chase Becker was 2-4 with an rbi and scored a run, Kaden Kruschek was 1-4 for Pierz.
