The Lightning were looking for their 2nd State Title in 3 years as they faced the Delano A's in Hutchinson on Labor Day for the Class B State Championship. Having won the Class C State Title in 2022, Nisswa took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st when Kody Ruedisili led off with a double and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly from Nate DeChaine. After Delano tied it 1-1 in the bottom of the 1st, the Lightning regained the lead in the top of the 2nd on an rbi double from Kody Ruedisili that scored Chris Pederson to make it 2-1. But Nisswa was unable to generate any further offense against the Delano pitching staff, as the A's scored 5 times in the bottom of the 5th to take a 6-2 lead, and added another run in the 6th to make it 7-2.  Then Delano's Toby Hanson led off the 7th with a solo Homer to right to make the final score 8-2 as Delano claimed the 2025 Class B State Championship.
