The Pioneers had a strong 3rd place finish at the Paul Bunyan Tournament in Brainerd. Kyle Stangl (114) and Caleb Koch (215) won Individual Championships and Rylan Gruber (107) and Jayden Zajac (189) finished in 2nd place.

The Pioneers won the Team Title at Big Lake. Kyle Stangl (114) and Brayden Melby (160) won Individual Championships while Rylan Gruber (107), Gauge Johnson (127), Carter Young (145), Cash Fussy (152), Jayden Zajac (189) and Bradly Tanner (215) took 2nd place.

One night after a tough loss at Holdingford, the Pioneers rallied from a 12-point halftime deficit to rally and beat the Cardinals 61-57. Nick Virnig had a couple of steals and made a pair of huge free throws with :07 left to ice the win. Jack Prokott had a great game with 17 points while Will Stangl added 11.

The Pioneers lost their first road test of the year, falling 69-51 to the Huskers. Jack Prokott was the only Pioneer to reach double figures, scoring 11 points. Sophomore Dawson Hofer led all scorers with 31 for Holdingford.

The Pioneers earned their first win of the season with an 85-68 win over the Bulldogs. Will Stangl had a huge night, pouring in 25 points. The Pierz bench outscored the Swanville bench 54-0 in the victory!

The Pioneers fell just short in a season-opening 57-56 loss to the Cardinals at the MAC. Brandon Solinger fueled a 2nd half comeback with 14 points, Jack Prokott added 11 and Tyler Kimman had 10 points in the loss.

The Pioneers dropped their Granite Ridge Conference opener at Milaca by score of 78-53. Kansas Block led a trio of Pioneers in double figures with 12 points while Kora Toops scored 11 in her first career Varsity start and Abbie Virnig added 10 points.
