The Pioneers beat the Flyers 69-55 as 4 players scored in double figures, led by Nick Virnig with 19.  Preston Saehr had a career-high 13, Nate Cekalla had 11 and Aiden Jones added 10.

The Pioneers dropped a 46-27 game to the Flyers at the MAC in the first game of a Girl/Boy doubleheader with Little Falls. Abbie Virnig led Pierz with 9 points while Sophie Leidenfrost added 7 points.

The Pioneers held a 22-19 lead at halftime but the Patriots clamped down in the 2nd half, outscoring the Pioneers 41-12 to down the Pioneers 60-34.  Macy Sadlovsky led Pierz with 8 points.

The Pioneers began the New Year with a wild 86-84 win on the road over the Gobblers.  Jaxsen Hardy had a monster game, scoring 28 points, Nate Cekalla had 21 and Aiden Jones added 18.
