The Pioneers open up play at the Aitkin Quarterbacks Club Holiday Tournament with a big 79-36 win over the Raiders. 12 different players scored in the rout, led by Noah Oberfeld with 18 points and Gene Skiba with 10. Jonny Cheney had 9, Kyle Winscher 8, Joey Stuckmayer, Ben Barclay and Jack Prokott scored 6 points each, Kirby Fischer and Sean Holmes had 5 each, while Nathan Solinger and Austin Pawlu also scored.

The Pioneers suffer their first loss of the season as they fall 76-65 on the road in Foley in the Granite Ridge Conference opener. Kirby Fischer had a strong game with 15 points and 3 other players scored in double figures as well with Noah Oberfeld scoring 11, and Joey Stuckmayer and Jonny Cheney adding 10 points each.

In a game that was added to the schedule, the Pioneers travel to Isle on a Saturday to defeat the Raiders, handling Mille Lacs 72-32 behind Lily Riley's 17 points and Alyssa Sadlovsky's 15. Kari LeBlanc has a strong game as well, scoring 9 points.

The Pioneers beat the Cardinals 66-34 for their second straight win to start the season. Alyssa Sadlovsky scored 18 and Lily Riley added 17 for Pierz.

The Pioneers finish in 2nd Place at the Big Lake Invite to open their season. Carter Young took 2nd at 113, Derek Stangl was 2nd at 132 and Jayden Zajac placed 2nd at 160.

The Pioneers open their season with a 71-36 win over the Bulldogs behind a career-high 22 points from Senior Lily Riley. Alyssa Sadlovsky scored 15, Ashely Kimman added 10 and in her first game back from knee surgery, Lyndsey Strohmeier scored 13 points.
