The Pioneers beat the Eagles 54-19 in the first dual of a Triangular at the MAC. The Pioneers raced out to a 51-0 lead behind a Forfeit win for Kyle Stangl and then 3 straight Pins from Carter Young, Cash Fussy and Liam Hennessy, followed by another Forfeit won for Derek Stangl. Brayden Melby followed with a Pin and Chase Becker won by Decision to make it 39-0. A Pin by Jacob LeBlanc and a Forfeit for Jayden Zajac made it 51-0. Caleb Koch won a Decision at 182 for the Pioneers final win of the Dual.

The Pioneers lost 57-45 against the Crusaders in St. Cloud to suffer their 2nd Granite Ridge Conference loss. Alyssa Sadlovsky scored all 11 of her points in the 2nd half and Britney Schommer finished with 10 points in the loss.

The Pioneers pitched a shutout in their 2nd match of their home Triangular, blanking the Dragons 78-0. Kyle Stangl, Cash Fussy, Derek Stangl, Brayden Melby, and Caleb Koch won by Fall. Carter Young won by Tech Fall, Nathan Nash won by Major Decision, Jayden Zajac won by Decision, Wyatt Dingmann won by Injury Default and Liam Hennessy, Braden LeBlanc, Kaden Kroll, Henry Hoffman and Jack Byker won by Forfeit.

At their Home Opener, the Pioneers make quick work of the Panthers with a 52-25 win to open a Home Triangluar. Liam Hennessy, Derek Stangl, Brayden Melby, Jayden Zajac and Caleb Koch all won by Fall. Carter Young won by Major Decision, while Nathan Nash, Wyatt Dingmann and Jack Byker won by Forfeit.

The Pioneers finished 5th in a field of 13 teams in the final event of the 2022 portion of their schedule. Carter Young won his 113 lb bracket, Kyle Stangl was 3rd at 106 and Link Toops was 4th at 106 as well. Liam Hennessy took 3rd at 126, Caleb Koch was 3rd at 170, Chase Becker was 4th at 138, Jayden Zajac took 4th at 160, Henry Hoffman was 5th at 220, Connor Hennessy took 7th at 126, Braden LeBlanc was 7th at 132, Cash Fussy was 7th at 120 and Alan Brixius was 8th at 120.

The Pioneers beat the Panthers 50-35 in their second game at the Granite City Classic in a game played at St. Cloud Apollo High School. Britney Schommer led the Pioneers with a 14 point game while Alyssa Sadlovsky added 9 and Ashely Kimman, Kenna Otte and Lily Riley each scored 7 and Lyndsey Strohmeier scored 6 as the Pioneers improved to 5-1.

The Pioneers let a 41-33 lead at halftime over the Gobblers slip away in the Championship game of the Aitkin Quarterbacks Club Holiday Tournament when they were held to just 8 points in the 2nd half and eventually lost 53-49. Jonny Cheney led the team with 15 points while Noah Oberfeld added 10.

The Pioneers lost 80-64 to West Fargo Horace in a game played at St. Ben's as part of the Granite City Classic. Alyssa Sadlovsky poured in 26 points, Britney Schommer had a great game with 17 and Lyndsey Strohmeier added 10 as the Pioneers fell to 4-1 on the season.

The Pioneers open up play at the Aitkin Quarterbacks Club Holiday Tournament with a big 79-36 win over the Raiders. 12 different players scored in the rout, led by Noah Oberfeld with 18 points and Gene Skiba with 10. Jonny Cheney had 9, Kyle Winscher 8, Joey Stuckmayer, Ben Barclay and Jack Prokott scored 6 points each, Kirby Fischer and Sean Holmes had 5 each, while Nathan Solinger and Austin Pawlu also scored.
