The Pioneers edge the Crusaders 1-0 in a great pitchers dual between Frankie Seelen of the Pioneers and Ella Voit of the Crusaders.  The only run of the game came in the bottom of the 3rd on a 2-out triple from Alyssa Sadlovsky, followed by a 2-out, 2-strike rbi single by Kenna Otte.  The Crusaders put runners at 2nd and 3rd with 1 out in the top of the 7th, but 3rd baseman Kendra Melby threw out the tying run at the plate and then Frankie Seelen finished the game with her 13th strikeout of the day.

The Pioneers lose 5-4 in 10 innings to the Falcons to split their doubleheader.  Kirby Fischer had a 3-hit game and Kaden Kruschek added 2 hits in the game.

The Pioneers beat the Falcons 9-6 as Max Barclay drove in a pair of runs, giving him the new Pierz single-season school record.   Kaden Kruschek earned the Win in his Varsity pitching debut for Pierz.

The Pioneers beat the Huskies 13-10 on a cool, rainy afternoon in Avon to improve to 2-0.  Max Barclay had another huge day with his 2nd Grand Slam and 8 rbi day of the week!   Brayden Haberman earned the Win in relief in his Varsity pitching debut.

The Pioneers rallied from a 7-1 deficit by scoring 13 unanswered runs in a 14-7 win in their Season Opener.  The biggest highlight came from Max Barclay who had 3 hits including a Grand Slam, a 2-run double and a 2-run single for 8 rbi's in the game!

Frankie Seelen threw her 2nd straight No-Hitter as the Pioneers beat the Cardinals 15-0 to improve to 2-0 this season.

The Pioneers open the 2023 season with a 13-0 win over the Huskers, highlighted by a No-Hitter from Frankie Seelen.  Frankie fanned 13 in the contest.

The Pioneers trailed the Flyers 19-17 at halftime but turned things around in the 2nd half for a 44-33 win to improve to 7-3 overall and pick up their first Granite Ridge Conference win of the year.  Britney Schommer scored 10 of her 15 points in the first half as both Alyssa Sadlovsky and Ashley Kimman spent the majority of the first half on the bench in foul trouble without either player having scored a single point.  The Pioneers defense came out strong in the 2nd half, holding the Flyers scoreless for the first 7 minutes as the Pioneers were able to build a small lead.   But the Flyers rallied to tie things up at 33-33 with just under 5 minutes left in the game when Alyssa Sadlovsky took over the game.  After being shut out in the `1st half, Alyssa poured in 17 points in the second half and the Pioneers scored the final 11 points of the game to complete the 44-33 victory.

The Pioneers lost an exciting 60-52 game to the Flyers in the first half of a Boy/Girl doubleheader in Little Falls.  The Flyers led 30-25 at halftime but the Pioneers scored the first 6 points of the 2nd half to grab a brief 31-30 lead but a 24-point night from Flyers Senior Beau Thoma and clutch free throw shooting by Little Falls was too much to overcome.  Noah Oberfeld scored 16 and Jonny Cheney added 14, including a pair of thunderous slam dunks in the 2nd half for the Pioneers.

The Pioneers had perhaps their best Dual match performance of the season with a 48-27 win over the Cardinals to wrap up the home Triangular.  Carter Young's Fall at 113 gave the Pioneers a lead they'd never relinquish.  Cash Fussy followed with a big Fall at 120.  Pierz got back-to-back Falls from Derek Stangl and Chase Becker to go ahead 24-9.  Jacob LeBlanc made it 30-15 with a Fall in his match at 152.  7th grader Jayden Zajac added a hard-fought 2-0 Decision over a Senior from Alexandria to make it 33-15. Caleb Koch added a win by Decision at 182 to make it 36-27.  Nathan Nash and Wyatt Dingmann then punctuated the win with back-to-back Falls for the 48-27 victory.   The Pioneers improved to 6-0 in Dual Meet competition on the year.
