The Pioneers lost 56-8 to #1 seeded Esko in the Section 7AA Semifinals at Esko. Caden Knutson had a pair of interceptions and a big kickoff return and Logan Magney rushed for the Pioneers lone touchdown and Max Barclay had a 2-point conversion pass to Caden Knutson.

The Pioneers lost 50-45 to the Nuggets in the Granite City Classic at St. Cloud Tech. Pierz had a 7 point lead at halftime, but Hawley rallied to win by 5. 3 Pioneers scored in double figures, led by Britney Schommer with 18, Alyssa Sadlovsky with 12 and Sophie Leidenfrost with 11. Isabel Steer led all scorers with 25 for Hawley.

The Eagles held off the Pioneers 65-56 to win the Pierz Pioneers Christmas Tournament. Jonah Moulton ked HCA with 18, Aaron Palmer had 17 and Josh Sokeye added 14. Joey Stuckmayer led Pierz with 21 while Nathan Cekalla had 11.

The Thunder won the 3rd Place game at the Pierz Christmas Tournament with a 90-56 win over the Braves. Thomas McEachern scored 21 and Brennan Engelkes added 16 for Zimmerman while Bodie Berttunen scored 29 for the Braves.
