Pierz Pioneers vs Pine City Dragons Girls Basketball 2024

In one of the more exciting games of the season, the Pioneers fell just short in a 71-70 loss to the Dragons in a game that saw multiple lead changes in both halves. With just over a minute to play in the game, Alyssa Sadlovsky drove to the basket for a layup, scoring her 1,000th career point in the process.  Alyssa finished with 27 points in the game as she became just the 10th player in Pierz Girls Basketball history to score 1,000 or more points.  Britney Schommer had a strong game with 18 points and Kenna Otte scored 9 points in a solid game.
