Pierz Pioneers vs Pequot Lakes Patriots 6AA Softball 2023

The Pioneers won a thrilling 2-1 game over the Patriots in the Winners Bracket of the Section 6AA Tournament.  Frankie Seelen allowed only 1 hit and struck out 15 in the win.  The Pioneers scored both their runs in the bottom of the 6th on an rbi single  by Britney Schommer to tie the game and then Kenna Otte scored on a passed ball with 2 outs to give Pierz a 2-1 lead.  Frankie Seelen then slammed the door with a 1-2-3 7th inning as the Pioneers moved within 1 win of their first ever trip to the State Softball Tournament!
