Nisswa Lightning vs Cannon Falls Bears Class C State Tournament 2023

The Lightning advanced to the Class C Sweet 16 with an 8-3 win over the Cannon Falls Bears in Litchfield.  Aaron Jenkins had a big day with a 2-run Homer and a 2-run single, and Nate DeChaine had a monster day as well, going 4-5 with a 2-run Homer and a double.  Sam Peterson also got into the act, going 2-5 with a 2-run Homer and Tyler Wittwer was 2-4 as Nisswa banged out 14 hits. Noah Cekalla, draftee from the Pierz Lakers, pitched 5 innings of relief to get the Win.
